The story of Lays Fasteners began over a cold rum and coke in February 2023, with a simple idea: to create a fastener supplier that builders, tradespeople and businesses could rely on. After months of planning, preparation and hard work, Lays Fasteners officially opened its doors in February 2024, establishing our store in Wānaka, Central Otago, New Zealand.
With over 16 years of combined industry experience, the directors of Lays bring extensive knowledge, passion and a commitment to helping customers find the right fastening solution. From construction and engineering projects to everyday repairs and maintenance, we provide a comprehensive range of fasteners, tools and accessories to suit a wide variety of applications.

Alyssa takes care of all of our Wanaka store customers and thrives on providing a good service to everyone who walks through our doors. Outside of work she loves spending time with friends and family, and days out on the boat.

Courtney brings 3.5 years experience in the trade industry to Lays. You'll find her out on the road visiting sites and checking in our customers and working alongside Alyssa in our Wanaka store. She also loves skiing!

Rog is our main Wanaka rep with decades of industry experience in the trade industry, including training apprentices through BCITO. He always wants to keep people happy and meet Lays customers needs. Outside of work he loves time with family and getting outdoors.

Wyatt is the friendly face behind the wheel at Lays Fasteners. As our delivery driver, he keeps orders moving and makes sure our customers get what they need, when they need it. Whether it’s a quick drop-off or a busy day on the road, Wyatt is always ready to lend a hand and keep things running smoothly.

You'll find Kevin out on the road looking after our Queenstown customers. Kevin has worked in the trade industry for over 15 years. He loves getting out onsite and helping builders get what they need asap. Outside work you'll find him wakeboarding and mountain biking.
